Hope isn’t something I chase because life has always been easy.

I chase it because I know where it comes from.

Over the years, l’ve learned that real hope isn’t loud or flashy. It’s steady. It’s rooted. It’s the kind that carries you through ordinary days and unexpected challenges alike. For me, hope is anchored in my relationship with God – in the truth that He loves me, knows me, and sent His Son, Jesus, for me.

There have been seasons when strength felt quiet and unseen. Seasons when faith meant simply showing up, trusting even when answers weren’t clear. In those moments, hope wasn’t found in having everything figured out – it was found in knowing I was never walking alone.

Family has been one of God’s greatest gifts in my life. Time spent with my grandchildren reminds me daily that hope is meant to be lived and passed on. It shows up in laughter, in patience, and in the legacy we leave through love and faithfulness.

I’m also drawn to stories — in Scripture, in books, and in life — that reflect courage, sacrifice, and redemption. They remind me that God works powerfully, even in the quiet places. Especially there.

This blog, Hope Chaser, is a place for reflection. A place to pause and notice God’s faithfulness, to practice gratitude, and to share thoughts for anyone who may need encouragement along the way. I don’t have all the answers, but I do know this: hope is always worth pursuing.

If you’re chasing hope too — in whatever season you find yourself — I’m glad you’re here.
